A Board of Trustees, chaired by Ann Frye OBE, former Head of the Department of Transport's Mobility & Inclusion Unit, oversees the Charity's work. The Charity's primary function is to organise theMobility Roadshow on an annual basis. The event was originally set up by the Department for Transport in 1983, and was run biennially until the charity assumed responsibility for the show in 1998. The show moved to an annual event in 1999.

Mobility and Aids are based in the centre of the 3 valleys on the borders of Berkshire, Surrey and Hampshire. The family business is owned by Mark (a nurse) & Lisa who originally ran mobility and anursing agency. After 15 years running a very successful nursing agency we decided to concentrate on just the mobility side of the business.
