Birmingham, West MidlandsAble Access installed a stair lift for me. From the start there was a problem with the speed of the lift intermittently going very slow, then normal speed and going slow again. I was told it needed a new part, even though it was a new lift, and it was ordered. No one ever came back with the part and as the lift was working I left it at that. It has been just over a year since it was installed and it recently broke down. I called the service number and an engineer came out.
He got the lift working again but said he would order a new part for it. I told him about the spare part that was ordered a year ago and no one came back to me. He told me to give a week and phone the office to chase it. I gave it 2 weeks and called the office. It went onto the answering service, so I left a message with my number asking for them to call me. I called the next day, and left another message, and the day after that, but I am still waiting for someone to call me back!
