Ideas in Action (also known as Stechford Mobility Centre) was established by Brian Gibbs in 1991. Already experienced in the mobility industry, Brian was then joined by Dave Thomas in 1998 who is now managing director of the business since Brian retired in early 2013. David has now been joined by his son Martyn as a director. Martyn has worked his way up through the company which is now a family business.

Creating an honestly priced, care-orientated business within a competitive nation-wide market proved initially challenging, but 23 years on, Ideas in Action are still going strong as one of the original local independent mobility equipment companies.
