My name is Steven Bainbridge and I began working in Mobility in late 1993. I could see that despite the fact that there were plenty of suppliers of Mobility and Access Equipment, there were very fewthat actually offered you a decent level of care or aftersales service. They always seemed happy to sell you a product and take your money, but if any problems ever arose or if any kind of support was needed, then you were often left in the lurch.
Built to last, our stairlifts offer low maintenance and high reliability. They run on maintenance-free DC power packs, which are automatically recharged at the end of every trip. So even if there is apower cut, you'll be carried safely to your destination.
B&W Mobility is a privately owned company and was first established in Yeadon, West Yorkshire as a manufacturer and supplier of high quality mobility equipment, specialising in the manufacture ofbattery charging equipment for scooters and wheelchairs. After many successful years the company had outgrown it's infrastructure and, in 1994, was relocated to larger premises in Guiseley, just a few miles down the road.
We have been greatly impressed with our partners at Companion. Their product range and business practices have consistently gone above and beyond what is required in terms of quality, allowing them -not simply to survive - but to thrive at a time when other companies are really struggling. Companion Stairlifts is one of the largest supplier of stair lifts in the UK. Having manufactured stair lifts for a number of years we pride ourselves as experts.
The business has now passed into the safe hands of the second generation of the family. Andrew, David and Nicola have many years of experience in the furniture trade between them, and they willcontinue to run the business with the same Kettley family values. Kettley's is proud to be regarded as the leading chair specialist of the North. A family owned and run firm, they have spent over 60 years building that reputation, perfecting a balance of good service and value for money over the decades.
