You do not need to be registered as a disabled person, be a regular wheelchair user or a Blue Badge holder. You may be recovering from an operation, illness or an injury such as a broken leg.

A Board of Trustees, chaired by Ann Frye OBE, former Head of the Department of Transport's Mobility & Inclusion Unit, oversees the Charity's work. The Charity's primary function is to organise theMobility Roadshow on an annual basis. The event was originally set up by the Department for Transport in 1983, and was run biennially until the charity assumed responsibility for the show in 1998. The show moved to an annual event in 1999.
